Session Tunes

Each session has a Tunes tab showing every tune that's part of that session's repertoire — everything that's been logged there, plus tunes added directly. This is the session's collective tunebook, and a great answer to "what should I learn to play here?"

Browsing

Each tune shows its name, its type (reel, jig, …), and a count. What the count means follows the sort you've picked:

• session - How many times the tune has been logged at this session
• everywhere - How many TheSession.org tunebooks it appears in
• a-z - Alphabetical

The filter panel also lets you narrow by tune type, or (when logged in):

• Nights I attended - Only tunes played on nights you checked in to
• My Tunebook - Show your own learning status next to each tune, or filter to just the ones you've learned, are learning, want to learn, or don't have yet — optionally scoped to one of your instruments

Tune Details

Tap any tune to open its detail drawer:

• Sheet music notation, with links to the tune on TheSession.org and in ABC Tools (where you can hear it played back)
• Your own list status, with an Add button if it's not on your list yet
• History - Every time it's been played here, with links straight into those nights' logs; session members can set the name, setting, or key the session uses for it
• Stats - Play counts and tunebook counts
• Played With - The tunes it's most often set with

Adding Tunes

The + button opens the add-tune search — the same search-and-preview flow used everywhere in the app, including TheSession.org search and paste-a-URL import. When you add a tune you can optionally record what the session calls it ("We call this"), and a specific setting or key the session plays it in.

Copying Tunes

Use Select Tunes... to pick several tunes and copy them in one go — to your own list (at a chosen learning status), or to another session you help run.
